Classes take place twice a week for 45 minutes each.
Tuition: $160 + GST per month

About the Program
Participants do not study media theory. Instead, they develop practical on-camera and on-air performance skills.
From the very first classes, they begin to try their hand at hosting television and radio programs.
The program is built around three key areas:
1.Speech and Delivery
— clear and confident diction
— proper pacing and intonation
— the ability to speak naturally rather than read from a script
— confidence in front of the camera and microphone
— development of an individual on-air style
2.On-Camera and On-Air Work
— professional on-camera presence
— working with the camera (eye contact, positioning, and audience engagement)
— working with a microphone in a radio format
— guiding a program from beginning to end
— staying composed and in control on air
3.Program Formats
Participants try their hand at a variety of formats:
— television programs
— interviews
— music introductions
— news segments
— entertainment and talk formats
— radio shows
Practice
The foundation of the program is consistent hands-on practice:
— recording video segments
— recording radio segments
— working in pairs and groups
— participating in studio formats
Outcomes
— the child feels confident on camera and on air
— develops strong communication and presentation skills
— gains experience participating in real media projects
— builds a strong, confident, and successful personality
Opportunities
The program provides the opportunity to:
— appear on Publish Art TV and Publish Art FM
— become part of the studio’s media projects
— express themselves as a host
— eventually move toward creating their own formats and projects within the network
Publish Art Network is an environment where confident and successful individuals are developed.
